I am a meticulous designer and developer with a passion for simplicity. When making designs or writing code it is my goal to evoke a sense of quality that exceeds all expectations.
March 2012 - Present
I began my position as a graphic designer creating web and print assets. I designed advertisements, landing pages, website UI elements, and even a convention booth.
It became apparent early on that there was need for someone who could write clean, semantic front-end code. I gradually began taking on more front-end projects and eventually built two websites from scratch.
Today I'm designing and taking others' designs and writing the supporting code. I do a lot of UI work and code bullet-proof HTML e-mails.
May 2010 - May 2011
A friend and I co-founded a business to revive commerce in my hometown (San Pedro, CA) by providing a set of tools on our website to promote local businesses.
I was responsible for all the technology development and graphic design in the company.
November 2009 - Present
K&L Computer Technologies bought PC Nerds and I became a full-time web specialist.
I managed the existing Windows e-mail and IIS server and ultimately migrated the company to the cloud with a more robust Linux environment.
As a web developer I expanded my skillset to include PHP development while building plugins for WordPress as a CMS.
Today I still support and manage the web/e-mail server remotely.
January 2004 - November 2009
I started as a computer repair technician and provided web design services to company clientele.
As the staff grew I took a role consulting on network design and offering technology solutions for small to medium sized businesses while growing my skill with web development.
Designed to replace the same functionality as a Flash plugin, this script builds an interactive wheel out of an HTML unordered list of images.
I used jQuery to control the CSS rotation of all the images. I also allowed for the scrolling of the wheel to be infinite by moving images to the beginning or end of the list depending on the direction the wheel is moving.
